St. Leon-Rot, February 25, 2025 – SLR Group GmbH informs that, according to preliminary calculations, sold tonnage for the first half year of 24/25 amounts to about 42 kilotons and adjusted EBITDA reached EUR 8.5 million. Sales of ductile cast iron components in the reporting period fell well short of initial expectations. In light of the lower sales volumes and the delayed effectiveness of the measures introduced under the “Adapt and Grow” program, the SLR Group is adjusting its forecast for the financial year 24/25. It now expects that in the financial year 24/25, the total production and sold tonnage will be in the range of 95 kilotons. In addition, the SLR Group now expects an adjusted EBITDA of EUR 17 million in the financial year 24/25. The company expects that the agricultural and construction sectors, which are important core segments, will bottom out in the course of the year. Previously, the company had expected that total production and sold tonnage would be in the range of 100 kilotons and thus slightly below the figures for the financial year 23/24. In addition, the SLR Group expected an adjusted EBITDA of EUR 20 million in the financial year 24/25.
