Graphisoft Park SE. The Graphisoft Park SE Real Estate Development European Company was established through a demerger from Graphisoft SE European Company on August 21, 2006. The purpose of the restructuring was to completely separate software development and property management. The company started to operate as a holding; as such, it does not perform any operational activities, and it does not employ any other staff besides its CEO. It is the exclusive owner of Graphisoft Park Kft., which employs 8 persons at present. Graphisoft Park Universitas Kft., founded in October 2007, is dedicated to the real estate development of the planned education campus, Aquincum Institute of Technology (AIT). As Graphisoft Park does not plan to extend its own activity for education, Graphisoft Park Universitas Kft. entered into a cooperation agreement with Aquincum Institute of Technology Kft. in April 2009. According to the agreement, the real estate development is the duty of Graphisoft Park, while organizing and starting up the educational program and operating the higher educational institute are the duties of AIT. Once the educational program begins, AIT will pay market-rate rent to the company for its use of the real estate. On the other hand, there will be a close co-operation between Graphisoft Park and AIT, in order to explore the promising synergic potentials between education and industry, represented by the tenants of the Park. On April 21, 2009, Graphisoft Park Kft. acquired a minority interest of 10% in AIT.
