Ad-hoc announcement  Cologne, 12 December 2023 – Group CEO Oliver Schoeller will present the preliminary figures for the current financial year to the press at today’s annual financial statements press conference. The Gothaer Group is expected to report premium revenues of € 4.9 billion – an increase of 6.2 percent compared to the previous year – and growth of 4.9 percentage points above market level.1 The Group’s equity base continued to gain in strength in an inflationary and recessionary framework during 2023 and it is expected to increase to around € 1.58 billion by the end of the year (previous year: € 1.50 billion).  Consolidated net income for the year is expected to be between € 70 and € 80 million. Premium revenues in the corporate client segment are set to rise by 9.5 percent, thereby further strengthening Gothaer's position as a leading partner to SMEs. Gross premiums written by Gothaer Allgemeine Versicherung AG are projected at € 2.4 billion, which is 10.2 percent above the 2022 level and significantly above market. New business growth of 9.2 percent from € 94 million in the previous year to € 103 million is expected.
